We benefit from plentiful free parking directly outside, around the Village Green and Market Square.

We are in an idyllically peaceful location, overlooking the village green. The apartments are all soundproofed for your privacy and comfort. We ask that you respect our neighbours by restricting noise after 10pm (no parties, please!)

We have two studio apartments with one king-size bed in each, and two family apartments, with one king-size and twin bedroom in each. The Hideaway has a twin bedroom and The Loft can be converted from a twin bed into a double. See Our Apartments and Gallery for full details and irresistible pictures!

Your apartment is exclusively yours for your stay. If you require any services, clean towels etc, we will be happy to provide, just call us on 015395 62236.

All four apartments have bespoke kitchens, with top-spec appliances: coffee maker, kettle, toaster, microwave and convection hob, plus full oven and dishwasher in our two-bedroom apartments The Hideaway and The Loft. See Our Apartments and Gallery.

Every bedroom has its own private ensuite contemporary shower room, with three of the four apartments featuring a double-size rainfall shower, full-height heated towel rail and Bath House toiletries. The Hideaway has a smaller shower. See Our Apartments and Gallery.

There is high-speed wifi in every apartment.

Milnthorpe is exceptionally well-supplied with food providers (Booths Supermarket, Living Well Healthfoods, Stuart Smith Butchers, SPAR and Morrisons Daily, which includes a Post Office), as well as numerous highly-rated cafes, restaurants, pubs and takeaways both in the village and within easy walking / driving distance. Maximum 2 people in one-bed studio apartments The Getaway and The Green, maximum 4 people in two-bedroom apartments The Hideaway and The Loft. We welcome multiple-apartment bookings for larger groups staying at the same time.

Children of all ages are welcome and if you’re travelling with an infant under 2 years, a travel cot can be made available on request (subject to availability). We do request muddy boots and wellies are removed before entering your apartment, and we have provided convenient storage space in the entrance hall (belongings left at your own risk).

We (Jayne and Mark) live locally and are contactable on the number provided. The apartments have their own dedicated entrance, we respect your privacy, but are fully available with any queries before and during your stay, on 015395 62236.

For your convenience, keys can be accessed from the lock box outside the main entrance (the code will be sent to you within 24 hours before your arrival).

Check-in from 3pm, check-out by 10am, unless alternative arrangements agreed prior to your stay.

Yes, the apartments are on the first and top floors of Rigney Bank House, with wide stairs and handrails. As a 17th-century building, we have incorporated as much accessibility as possible (for example walk-in showers) however restrictions prevent provision of a lift.

The building is fully equipped with smoke detectors, if the alarm sounds, exit your apartment immediately, through the external entrance, and assemble on the village green opposite the house. Useful local and emergency contact numbers are also provided in your apartment’s welcome brochure.

We will reserve your booking for a deposit equal to the first night cost of your stay. The full balance must be paid 5 days before arrival. We accept payments by Visa Debit, Visa Credit, Maestro, Mastercard and American Express. See our Booking Form for availability and booking details.

If you cancel up to 5 days before arrival date you will be refunded minus £10.00 admin fee per apartment booked.
If you cancel within 5 days of arrival date (or no show), you will be charged the full cost of your booking (you may wish to arrange personal holiday cancellation insurance).
